Job Description:
A company is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their
Vertical Market Operations Team in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Verify purchase requisitions and recommend alternatives based on
cost or lead time issues
Prepare and issue purchase orders while managing online databases
of materials ordered, received, and delivered
Negotiate costs with vendors and track orders to ensure consistency
with commitment dates
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2+ years of previous experience in a purchasing
environment
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related
coursework
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications
Ability to work under pressure and maintain exceptional customer
focus
