Job Description:
A company is looking for a Research Accountant responsible for
analyzing financial information and performing accounting duties
related to sponsored project financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fund set-ups and modifications, and act as a liaison for
financial inquiries
Analyze and reconcile grant funds, monitor budget variances, and
maintain financial records
Prepare journal entries and assist with internal and external
audits
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
experience
1-3 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and financial software such as
Banner Finance and COEUS
Knowledge of federal compliance regulations
