Job Description:
A company is looking for an Appeals Analyst to monitor
contractual allowances and pursue appeal opportunities with payers
and networks.
Key Responsibilities
Implement processes for identifying under-allowed claims and review
EOBs
Compile and submit appeals while monitoring for proper
reimbursement
Track errors and provide feedback to the Appeals Manager
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience with managed care claims and appeals
1+ year of experience with a healthcare contract manager
application
2+ years of experience in healthcare professional services billing
and reimbursement
Knowledge of practice management systems and EOB imaging
systems
Familiarity with managed care contracts and compliance
