Job Description:
A company is looking for a Quality Improvement Abstractor.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data collection and abstraction for quality measures such as
HEDIS and CMS
Review medical records and abstract data in compliance with
standards
Track and report on issues related to abstractions and communicate
outcomes with health plans and vendors
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; a
bachelor's degree is preferred
4+ years of experience in nursing, medical assisting, medical
coding, or data management
Experience in quality initiatives, including HEDIS projects, is
preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel
and Access
Current state's RN or LPN license is preferred
