Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Job Specialty: Trauma Operating Room Nurse Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of trauma experience or 1 year at a large institution. Level 1 experience is required. At least 1 year of circulating experience in Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular procedures. License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Ability to function independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment - Meditech documentation system experience Job Description: - Provide nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the trauma operating room. - Work in 18 OR suites plus 2 minor rooms with a 1:1 patient ratio. - Collaborate with a team including orderlies, anesthesia technicians, and unit secretaries. - Participate in rotating 12-hour shifts with call requirements and alternate weekend shifts. - Perform and assist in procedures such as Total Joint procedures, Robotic gynecology oncology, and Craniotomy procedures. - Adhere to the dress code with surgical scrubs provided for work.
