Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Health and Food
Justice.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Health and Food Justice team, managing policy advocacy
and team collaboration
Engage in legislative advocacy, conduct research, and develop
policy-focused publications
Supervise team members and contribute to organizational goals and
grant proposals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, Master's degree with
8 years, or Ph.D. with 6 years in a related field
Commitment to equity and understanding of barriers faced by
marginalized communities
Knowledge of health coverage policy, including Medicaid and
CHIP
At least 3 years of personnel or project management experience
Experience in public policy advocacy and familiarity with
legislative processes
