Information Technology has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time
Director, Epic Revenue Cycle.The Director of Epic Revenue Cycle
will provide strategic and operational leadership for Epic revenue
cycle hospital and professional billing applications, including but
not limited to Resolute Physician Billing, and Resolute Hospital
Billing. Further, the Director, Epic Applications will oversee a
team consisting of managers and analysts with Epic revenue cycle
hospital and professional billing application experience and lead a
multi-disciplinary team in the design, implementation, workflow
optimization, change management, support, and issue resolution
related to the revenue cycle hospital and professional billing
applications.Core FunctionsProvide leadership and direction on the
design, implementation, build, testing, modification, and analysis
of Epic revenue cycle hospital and professional billing
applicationsCollaborate with senior leadership on strategic
initiatives, growth and expansion opportunities, and improving
patient experiences and outcomes related to satisfaction and
qualityProvide organizational knowledge and guidance for Resolute
Physician Billing and Resolute Hospital Billing teams to facilitate
decision-makingManages daily operations and directs staff to
achieve departmental goals and objectivesSupervises the performance
management of assigned staff including hiring, training,
evaluation, promotion and terminationDesigns improved work systems
by revising work standards, policies and proceduresManage scope,
budget, schedule, and quality of projectsEstablish a clear line of
communication with clinical and business leadersMaintain regular
communication with team members and lead weekly project team
meetingsReview the status of projects and issues on an ongoing
basis with the teamThis list of duties and responsibilities is not

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's DegreeMaster's Degree preferred.Epic
Certifications required-Epic revenue cycle hospital and
professional billingMinimum of 10 years of experience, preferably
in healthcare or healthcare-related organization3-4 years of
experience in a leadership role in hospital and/or physician
revenue cycle billingStrong understanding of the core functions and
processes of the billing office preferredUnderstanding of revenue
cycle management or experience with billing operations
preferredDirect experience managing hospital and/or professional
billing accounts receivables preferredExperience leading large
teams of individuals and the ability to manage staff
effectively.Strong communication and organizational skillsPast
success with large-scale projects such as other software
implementations, building projects, or other key initiativesAble to
logically examine, and interpret information from different sources
to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to
resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrenceAbility to gain
trust and establish effective relationships with team
membersAbility to persevere in difficult situations, overcome
obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with
stressful work situations and time pressures.Any appropriate
combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications
