something for everyone. We're looking for an amazing Sr. Manager,
Product Engineering to fill this role, which is based in our Fort
Lauderdale office. You'll be responsible for leading and overseeing
multiple full stack development teams in the design, development,
testing, and deployment of our digital platform. This role will
drive digital innovation for guest-facing web applications and will
also be responsible for delivery and the evolution of agile best
practices, test automation, and continuous improvement within the
ecommerce organization as well as product quality. Here's a summary
of what Princess is looking for in its Sr. Manager, Product
Engineering. Is this you? Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple software engineering teams (engineers,
business analysts, quality assurance) in the design, development,
testing, and deployment of high-quality software solutions, while
ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Use engineering principles to conduct technical investigations
involved with the modification of material, component, or process
specifications and requirements.
- Responsible for all aspects of eCommerce Web product
engineering - including vacation smart search, cruise online
reservations, amend reservations, pre-cruise purchases, and CMS
modules to drive innovation and increase direct and onboard
revenue.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners (i.e. PMO, IT,
Enterprise Architecture, Marketing, Security, and Data teams) to
ensure technology alignment, product success, and predictable
delivery.
- Collaborate with the downstream Operations Team to drive
operational excellence for our eCommerce Websites, ensuring
availability, performance, and compliance of customer-facing
websites.
- Recruit, onboard, provide continuous mentorship, and coaching
to all members of the scrum teams.
- Develop team target metrics.
- Track the performance of the scrum teams, implementing
performance improvement strategies when necessary. Oversee quality
control and lifecycle management processes, ensuring their
continual improvement.
- Manage software development processes across multiple
application development disciplines for software technology product
lines.
- Develop risk identification and mitigation strategies
associated with the architecture and coding process.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, inclusion,
innovation, and excellence while continuously elevating the quality
and caliber of our product development organization.
- Establish and ensure best practices for the software
development lifecycle including solution engineering, build, and
test, inclusive of test automation.
- Manage vendor relationships for sourcing Web engineering
talent, managed services, and strategic partners (i.e. Adobe,
Akamai), leveraging on-site/offshore resources for efficiency.
- Directly influences technical timeline for delivery of
revenue-generating features & products online for ticket and
onboard revenue.
- Through self-service capabilities, drive a reduction in service
call volume.
- Directly oversee web operations to proactively improve online
customer experience. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Computer Science/Math.
- 12+ years delivering technology products.
- 8+ years leading engineering teams.
- 10 years delivering large scale consumer-facing system
solutions.
- 8 years managing a staff of over 20 in a support and
project-oriented matrix organization.
- 3 years Adobe Experience Manager required.
- 3+ years of experience in modern web technologies like React,
API gateways.
- 3+ years of experience with web systems architecture components
like Akamai/CDN, DNS, SSL.
- 3+ years of experience with MarTech solutions like Adobe
target, Analytics, session recording, Personalization tools.
- Proven ability to build productive collaborative relationships,
motivate team members, and instill a positive can-do attitude.
- Strong experience leading engineering/technology
professionals.
- Strong understanding of Web UI Technologies and frameworks such
as React and Angular.
- Proven experience on Product Testing and driving results
through iterative testing.
- Strong experience and understanding of Serverless
Architecture.
- Strong experience and understanding of Event Driven
Architecture.
- Experience in the planning, analysis, and design of software
application strategies.
- Extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle, the
customer area's functions and systems, and application program
development alternatives.
- Deep understanding and application of WCAG, PCI, PII,
Encryption requirements.
- Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability,
solid judgment and management skills, and the ability to work
effectively with clients and other IT professionals.
- Subject Matter Experience in Adobe Experience Manager
required.
- Microservices & SPA experience preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Base Salary Range: $121,000.00 to $163,000.00. The range is
applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be
hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate's
